Q: Should I load the driver on my system for the Digital Media Player?
A: The CD is only necessary on the antiquated windows 98/98 SE operating system. The driver is not necessary; however, you could install the Utility Set included to convert videos and manage your media easier.
Q: How do I transfer music from a CD to my Digital Media Player?
A: Using Windows Media Player, you can rip the music from your CD directly to your Digital Media Player. You can also drag and drop the music into the Digital Media Player Folder and put it in the folder named "Music".
Q: What should I do if my Digital Media Player plays the first 10 seconds of a song and then skips to the next song?
A: This is because your Digital Media Player is set to intro mode. If you would like to play your music regularly, you need to change the setting of your player in the repeat mode.
Q: Are the Impecca Digital Media Players compatible with the MAC format?
A: Impecca Digital Media Players are compatible with the MAC format, however the software is not. On a Mac, you can drag your song from itunes and place into your Digital Media Player on your desktop.
Q: What should I do if my Portable DVD player is not reading my files:
A: If the Portable DVD Player is not reading the DVD/or file properly, i.e. hears sound but sees nothing, check which format you are trying to read, if you are trying to read an online document, you need to find a converter and convert to Mpeg 1 or Mpeg2.
Q: What does “Limited DIVX Support” mean?
A: Impecca Portable DVD players can support specific versions of DivX, namely Free version 2, 4, 5.
Q: The screen setting option “Display Format” is dimmed. How can I change the screen ratio?
A: Push the “Open” button on the unit to open the disc, press “Setup LCD Adj” or “Setup,” you can then adjust/change the display format.
Q: I am having trouble locking in the battery on the player. I put it in and try to click it in but it doesn't stay in.
A: Slide the battery in a bit to the side for the battery to lock into place.
Q: What is SPDIF Audio? Can it be connected to a TV?
A: SPDIF is a digital audio output technology. The DVP-1025 includes a SPDIF Adapter Cable for RCA output (generally used on televisions).
Q: The AC adaptor does not fit properly?
A: When inserting the AC adaptor into your digital photo frame, ensure that it is totally flushed (no metal is sticking out) if metal is seen sticking out you need to push the adaptor in a bit more.
Q: I downloaded music to my SD memory card but can not play the music and watch the photos at the same time.
A: On the remote there are 2-buttons one for Slideshow and one to Play Music. Press Slideshow for an indication on the LCD that you activated the slideshow, once the slideshow is playing, press the Music button, this allows both to work simultaneously.
Q: Does the battery have its own charger or does it recharge in the frame?
A: The DFB-7 does not require a separate charger, it recharges in the photo frame.
