You can charge your Digital Media Player by connecting it to a computer with the included USB cable for 4 hours with the On/Off switch on the bottom of the Player on the On position. Alternatively, you can use an USB wall adaptor (not included with all models).
You can conserve battery by going into Settings, Setup, or System, selecting Power Off and adjusting the settings.
The driver for the Digital Media Player loads automatically. There is no need to download additional drivers.
IMPECCA Digital Media Players are compatible with Macs, however the software is not. On a Mac, you can drag your song from iTunes and place into your Digital Media Player on your desktop.
To copy music from a CD to your Digital Media Player, you have to first copy the music from the CD to your computer. You can use Windows Media Player or a different program to copy the CD to your computer. After you have finished copying the CD, copy the music to your player along with all of your other music.
Please note that the music needs to be in .MP3 or .WMA format, so please make sure that the copy (rip) settings are set to .MP3 or .WMA.
Open My Computer
Find your player (By default usually named Removable Disk)
Find your music file(s) in a second window.
Drag and copy your music file(s) into the Digital Media player.
Note: Please make sure that your music is in a compatible format for your Digital Media Player. (Refer to the FAQ titled "What format music can I play with my Digital Media Player?" to check what file formats are compatible with your Digital Media Player.) For more details, please watch the video below.
Connect your Digital Media Player to your computer using a USB cable. Once your computer recognizes the player, click to open it. You can then drag your music folder and drop it in the Digital Media Player.
Note: The music must be in .MP3 or .WMA format.
Music in .MP3 or .WMA formats work with all IMPECCA Digital Media Players.
First, find where your music is located on your computer. (It is usually, though not always, located in the file titled Music.)
Then, (1) Right click on a track (if you have albums, open an album till you get to the tracks).
(2) In the bottom of the menu that opens, select Properties.
(3) The second line in the window that opens will say which file type the music is in.
Please make sure it is in .MP3 or .WMA format.
This is because you are playing the wrong format music. Please make sure all music is in the .MP3 or .WMA format before uploading the music to your Digital Media Player.
This may be because the music is in a .WAV file. You will need to convert the music before playing it. To convert your music, you will need to download an online music converter.
Make sure the volume is turned up and the earphones are plugged in and working.
Playlists are not supported by IMPECCA Digital Media players. However, you can make separate music folders on your computer and then transfer them onto your Digital Media Player which you can then play.
For the MP-1202 and the MP-1402, you can access these folders by selecting Music and then pressing the Mode wheel, making sure not to press the Play/Pause button. You can find the folders you have made by selecting Local File. To repeat the folder, press the Mode wheel while playing a song, select Repeat and then choose Repeat Folder.
For the MP-1827 and MP-1847, you can access the folders by selecting Music and then pressing the Mode (M) button, making sure not to press the Play/Pause button. You can find the folders by selecting Local Folder. To repeat the folder, press the Mode (M) button while a song is playing and select Repeat Folder.
For the MP-1827-2 and the MP-1847-2, you can access the folders by selecting Music and then selecting Directory Listing. To repeat the folder, go to Settings in the main menu, select Music and then Repeat Mode.
To return to your place on your playlist after turning off your Digital Media Player:
1) Pause the song that is currently playing.
2) Press and hold the Play/Pause button to turn off your device.
To power on, just press the Play/Pause button again.
This is because your Digital Media Player is set to Intro Mode.
How to exit Intro Mode:
1) While playing music, press Mode (the "M" button).
2) Select Repeat by pressing Mode.
3) Select Normal by pressing Mode.
4) Your music will now play the entire song.
Please refer to your Instruction Manual for more details.
Try to plug in your Digital Media Player in a different USB port.
Use a different USB cable, if applicable.
For the MP-1202 and MP-1402, try to use a new AAA battery. For the MP-1827, MP-1847, MP1827-2, and the MP-1847-2, try to charge it while in the ON position by plugging it in the computer for 4 hours.
On the MP-1202, 1402, or 1802, take out the battery and re-insert it.
On the MP-1827, 1827-2, 1847, or 1847-2, press the reset button on the back of the Digital Media Player with a small paperclip or similar object.
If resetting it doesn’t work, you can format your Digital Media Player. For instructions on how to do this please go to the FAQ titled “How do I format my Digital Media Player?” or “How do I format my Digital Media Player on my Mac computer?”
Note: You will lose all saved data you may have on your device.
Step 1) Connect your Digital Media Player to a computer using the included USB cable.
Step 2) Click Start (the flag on the lower left corner)
Step 3) Click on My Computer or Computer
Step 4) Right- click on your device (by default usually named Removable Disk)
Step 5) Click on Format from the list of options (Make sure the Quick Format option is NOT checked)
Step 6) Click Start
Note: You will lose all saved data you may on your Digital Media Player.
Step 1) Go to Applications
Step 2) Click on Utilities
Step 3) Click on Disk Utilities
Step 4) Select your player on the left
Step 5) Click on the Erase tab
Step 6) Click on Erase
On the MP-1202, 1402, or 1802, press the Mode wheel until you get to the main menu. Select the icon titled SYS (System) and then select the icon with En or this (E ф) on it. The icon with US is for English. Select this icon by pressing the Mode wheel. You can now go back to the main menu.
On the MP-1827 or 1847, go to Setup (the icon with a gear) and select the third option on the menu. English is the second option on top of the option that ends with BIG.
For the MP-1824-2 or 1847-2, go to Settings (the icon with a gear and a screwdriver), select Language, and then select English.
This is because the files necessary to play your music takes up a small amount of room. This is normal.
If you wish, you could re-format your player. This will erase all of your data, so make sure you have all your data backed up on your computer. For instructions on how to format your Digital Media Player, please refer to the FAQ titled “How do I format my Digital Media Player?”
You can create an eBook by copying and pasting text to a new note in Notepad, and then saving the text as a .TXT file. You can then copy this file onto your Digital Media Player.
Step 1) Connect your device to a computer using the included USB cable
Step 2) When Autoplay opens, select Open Folder to Explore Files (or, if it doesn’t open, open My Computer and select your device)
Step 3) In a second window, select the .TXT (text) file you would like to copy to your player
Step 4) Drag and copy the .TXT file into your Digital Media Player
Step 5) Safely disconnect the player from the computer
The eBook will now be on your Digital Media Player.
This is because the player is full. We recommend connecting to your player to a computer to check which files you may want to remove and delete them.
For the MP-1202 and MP-1402, go to Replay Recordings (RPL), find the recording you want to delete, and then press the Mode button, making sure the recording is paused. In the menu that comes up, select Delete File or Delete All. Please note that some versions of the MP-1202 and MP-1402 don’t have a delete option. To delete recordings in these models, you would need to plug the Digital Media Player into your computer and open your Digital Media Player. You can then delete them from there.
For the MP-1827 or 1847, go to Voice, and press the M button, making sure the recording you want to delete is paused. In the menu that comes up, select Delete File or Delete All.
The MP-1827-2 and the MP-1847-2 don’t have a delete option. To delete recordings in these models, you would need to plug the Digital Media Player into your computer and open your Digital Media Player. You can then delete them from there.
You may be having problems because the video you want to play is in an incorrect format. To convert your videos to the correct format, please download this file for the MP-1827 and the MP-1847. For the MP-1827-2 and the MP-1847-2, please download this file.
After converting the videos to the correct format, please follow the steps shown in the video below to load your Digital Media Player with the videos.
For the MP-1827 and MP-1847, use .AMV format videos. For the MP-1827-2 and the MP-1847-2, use .AVI format videos.
First, attach your Digital Media Player to your computer with the
included USB cable.
Then, (1) Select Finder
(2) In the sidebar, select your device.
(3) Locate and select one of your music files.
(4) On your keyboard, press Command +I
(5) Under General, next to Kind, check the type of file
This may be because the anti-virus program on your computer is blocking the DFM-350’s program from operating on your computer. For instructions on how to allow the program through, please contact the customer support center of your anti-virus program.
You can load the internal memory by connecting the Digital Photo Frame to your computer with the attached USB cable.
The battery charges when the Digital Photo Album is plugged in.
When inserting the AC adaptor into your Digital Photo Frame, make sure that it is totally flush (no metal is sticking out) with the frame. If metal is seen sticking out, you need to push the adaptor in a bit more.
1) Try re-inserting SD card or USB thumb drive.
2) Make sure the image files are in correct format for your Digital Photo Frame.
3) If the SD card or USB thumb drive is formatted with NTFS, it needs to be formatted with FAT or FAT32.
(To format a SD card or USB thumb drive, insert it in to your computer. Open My Computer and right click the removable drive you wish to format. In the pop-up menu, select Format and under File System, select FAT or FAT32. Uncheck Quick Format and press Start.)
On the remote there are 2 buttons, one for Slideshow and one to play music.
Press Slideshow and wait for an indication on the LCD screen that you activated the slideshow. Once the slideshow is playing, press the Music button; this allows both to work simultaneously.
Make sure the AC Power cord is securely plugged into an AC outlet.
Make sure the power switch is at the ON position.
Make sure the contrast is not set at the minimum.
Make sure you are rotating the frame 90 degrees to the right and not to the left.
The sensor may be stuck; slightly shake or lightly tap the Digital Photo Frame to loosen the sensor.
Check to make sure the video(s) on the SD card or the USB thumb drive are in the correct format.
For pictures, please use JPEG images. For video (select models only), please use .MPEG. For music (select models only), please use .MP3 or .WMA.
Check to make sure the music on the SD card or the USB thumb drive is in the correct format.
Also, check to see if the volume is turned up.
Please check the volume setting. If you can't hear sound coming from the speakers, check to see if earphones are plugged in. You can't use the speakers with earphones plugged into the earphone jack.
The DVD Player needs to be in the Off position in order to charge the battery. The battery may also be too hot to charge. Please wait until the battery cools down to charge it.
If the LED indicator does not light up, please make sure the AC adaptor is plugged in all the way. Also, please note that the battery won’t charge if it is too hot.
IMPECCA™ Portable DVD players can support versions 2, 4, and 5 of DivX.
For the DVP-774 and 915, press the Setup button and select Video Setup Page. Under Panel Quality, you can adjust the screen contrast ratio settings.
If your Portable DVD Player is not reading the DVD and/or file properly, i.e. you hear the soundtrack but don't see anything, check which format you are trying to play. If you are trying to play an online document, you need to find a converter and convert it to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2.
Slide the battery in a bit to the side for the battery to lock into place.
SPDIF is a Digital Audio Output Technology. The DVP-1025 includes a SPDIF Adapter Cable for RCA output to connect it to a TV.
